We are more than allowed to take time to REALIGN. It's important to honor the things your body, mind, and soul needs.
If that means you need to take a beat and spend some time to yourself, DO IT! If this means you need a bubble bath tonight, DO IT! You are working hard for the life you want and that life should include maintaining your peace.
Here are 3 signs that you need to realign.
Overthinking and brain fog
Brain fog is one of the most common signs that you need to take some time to realign. When the mind is cluttered with thoughts, it becomes hard to focus.
If you are overthinking, it might be a good idea to journal your thoughts and take a step back from them. Take a few deep breaths and do some things that help you get out of your mental space and into the body. Stretch, do yoga, exercise, dance, whatever helps you get out of your head. Once you are more grounded in your body, you can reengage with those thoughts with a clear head and a different perspective.
Your body will tell you when it is time to slow down and rest. If your body begins to feel heavy on the daily and you are starting to have less and less energy each day, it is time for a break.
Fatigue means that you may be neglecting your needs. Maybe you have been super busy and have only had time for on-the-go meals. Maybe you haven’t been able to take any time for yourself. You are probably giving more energy than you are pouring into yourself. You can’t pour from an empty cup, so I recommend taking some time to figure out what your body, mind, and soul need to support you.
Life can be crazy sometimes, but it is important to make sure you are staying healthy and aligned as you go through life.
Low mood & anxiety
When your mood becomes low, it is a very clear sign that you need to reconnect with your center. Low moods and anxiety can often occur when we are ungrounded. When we are disconnected from ourselves, we become detached and emotionally compromised.
At these times, it is important to remember the things that ground you. What are things you love to do? What things make you feel safe and held? What makes you laugh? What speaks to your inner self? Looking into these things will help you connect with yourself and reconnect with LIFE.
Another great way to reconnect with your center is to reconnect with mother earth. Aligning with the wholeness that is Mother Earth, will help you realign with the wholeness that is you! Feeling the energy and love that Mother Nature provides us can help revitalize and energize us when our mood is low.
I encourage you to engage with Mother Nature as much as possible. Go for a walk outside, look at the night sky, stand in the sun, or eat the fruits of the earth to stay connected.
